Experimental Room

The room cell is free-standing expermental room and represents an office room with a south-facing glass facade (length: 5 m, width: 3 m, height: 2.85 m). Adjacent to it is an anteroom to accommodate the technical installations and measurement equipment.
The entire room is thermally insulated to a high standard. For the various experiments, a ventilation heating or cooling system via ceiling sails, the lighting as well as a ceiling fan and an externally mounted blind can be controlled automatically. In addition to room climate data, data from a climate station is also continuously recorded. The focus of previous research work was on questions of the summer indoor climate, user behavior and user acceptance in relation to technical systems.
